He is the organiser of the Scoliosis Symposium conference. He is serving as an advisor to the Minister of Health of the Czech Republic. He is an active member of the annual meetings held by the Scoliosis Research Societies. Dr Martinis is the chairman of the Czech Association of Yoga in Daily Life committee. He is also serving as the chairman of the Association of Deans of Medical Faculties of the Czech Republic. He is the Vice Chairman of the Czech Society for Orthopedics and Traumatology. He is an appointed Supervisor of doctoral studies in orthopaedics and spinal surgery at Masaryk University. He is the Guarantor of the educational programs held in orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Masaryk University. He is invited as an expert surgeon of national programs for the surgeries in spine deformity surgeries in Poland, South Africa, Georgia, Slovakia, and Kazakhstan.
