A pediatric neurologist diagnoses and treats the disorders effecting the kidney and the urinary tract of the children.

Investigations like Peritoneal dialysis, Hemodialysis, Continuous veno-venous hemofiltration, Renal biopsy, 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, Urinalysis, Kidney function tests and Measurement of glomerular filtration rate.

By performing blood and urine tests to determine how well the patient's kidneys is functioning and also a kidney ultrasound.

Recovering from kidney removal most often takes around 3 to 6 weeks. The patient may experience pain in the belly or on the side where the kidney was removed but the pain gradually gets better over several days to a week

It may be due to the birth defects, hereditary diseases, infection, nephrotic syndrome, systemic diseases, trauma, or urine blockage.
