A complete blood count (CBC) and urine test are done to check the body parameters. Apart from this, viral markers for HIV and Hepatitis are done as a routine pr-operative standard. Children must stay for at least two nights after the surgery for pain relief or antibiotic injections. You need to come back one week after the surgery to remove the dressing and catheter.
