Repetitively pushing, pulling, and lifting objects weighing more than 25 pounds should be avoided. A combined effort is required by both the orthopedic surgeon and the patient in order to obtain an optimal result from the hip replacement procedure.

Most hip replacement patients are able to walk within the same day or next day of surgery, most can resume normal routine activities within the first 3 to 6 weeks of their total hip replacement recovery.

It will take around two to four weeks to recover from the surgery, usually recovery depends on various factors such as your age, nutrition and other conditions, your health and lifetstyle.

After your total hip replacement surgery you can never cross your legs at kneed for minimum six to eight weeks  and you cannot bend your knees higher than your hips and you cannot learn forward while sitting and you cannot turn your feet more towards inwards and outwards when you bend downwards

If you have sedentary job you can return back to your work after four to six weeks of the surgery.

You can either walk on the same day or the next day after surgery, if you want to resume your normal activity you can resume within three to six weeks of the surgery.

You will have pain around two to four weeks of the surgery and the intensity of pain depend on your activity level and the amount of pain which you are having before the surgery and it effects to make complete recovery.
