Before the procedure, tests such as an echocardiogram, X-rays, CT scan, ECG, and MRI are done. The costs of tests are included in the package too.

The surgery takes 4-5 hours, and you need to stay in the hospital for 1 to 2 weeks after the surgery. You will need to see a doctor six to eight weeks after the surgery for follow-ups. 

The pain after Glenn's procedure lasts a few weeks. If your child seems uncomfortable, rub their head and give Ibuprofen or Tylenol to provide relief. Depending on the heart problem, a child might need another surgery (Fontan procedure) when they are around 18-36 months old. This surgery is not included in the package.
