After your male to female surgery you will see the result when all the swelling, redness and bruises have subsided. It will take around a month when you can see the result of change in your organs.  If you notice any abnormality such as fluid discharge after a month, change in your body temperature, difficulty in urination, difficulty in walking or doing any other activities, you need to consult your surgeon. If the breast implants fails (which is very rare) or if your genital surgery results are not appropriate then you have to go for other surgery also which is not included in the package.

How long the patient has to stay in the hospital after surgery?

Female to male surgery consists of two surgeries which are “Top” surgery to remove breast tissue for a more masculine appearance. Another surgery is “Bottom” surgery to transform and reconstruct the genitalia.  Top surgery takes around one hour to complete. The patient can go home the same day after surgery or they have to stay overnight in the hospital.

Bottom surgery takes around 4 to 5 hours to complete. It requires hospital stay of 4-5 days. You have to come for follow up in one month, three months and in every three month after surgery.
