Eligibility for Medical Visa from Turkmenistan to India

One should apply for an Indian medical visa when he/she is coming to India for the sole purpose of his/her treatment.

The chosen hospital in India should be recognized/reputed/specialized.

A maximum of two medical attendants are allowed to accompany the patient on his/her medical trip.

The non-exhaustive list of medicals treatments and ailments for which one can apply for a medical visa include cardiac conditions, neurology treatment, congenital defects/disorders, cosmetic treatment, organ transplants, and others.
Important Documents Required for Indian Medical Visa from Turkmenistan

Print of online medical visa application form filled with proper details.

Medical reports of the patient.

Official letter from the local doctor stating the necessity of the patient to seek treatment in India.

Official letter from the concerned hospital in India mentioning the name of the patient, his/her ailment and treatment along with his/her medical attendant’s name and confirming that the patient will receive the required treatment at the hospital.

Original passport with 6 months validity.
Online Application of Indian Medical Visa from Turkmenistan

After you click on Regular Visa Application in the government website of Indian Visa Online enter details regarding your country name, high commission, date of birth, nationality, email id, expected date of arrival in India and visa type. Click Continue after you put the access code.

The online visa form includes three pages. Click Save and Continue after you complete each page.

Fill the first page with the required details regarding your family address and your profession/occupation.

Enter details about the hospital in your country where you were diagnosed/treated previously, the hospital you have chosen to seek treatment in India, the time span of the treatment, required visa entries, expected date of arrival in and departure from India, details about your visit to SAARC countries and reference.

If you do not have a reference in India then you can provide Vaidam Health’s contact details only if you are making your medical trip to the country with Vaidam’s assistance.

A preview of all the data that you have entered will appear in a new window once you have clicked on Save and Continue on the last page (third page) of the form.

In case of any necessary correction in the form, click on Modify/Edit. Click on Verified and Continue if every detail entered by you is correct.

After going through the instructions that appear in a window click Ok for final registration or Cancel for making any change in the form.

Select the date of appointment from the new window for the submission of your online visa application along with the required documents.

Save your online medical visa application when you are provided with two options of Save or Print.

To get a print of your visa application click on Print Registered Application.

Attach two recent passport size color photographs to the application.

Sign in two places in the form: one inside the rectangular box outside the photo box and the other at the end on the second page of the form.

Submit the application form along with the required documents at the Mission Counter in the appointed date during the working hours. The appointed date that you have chosen is mentioned at the right margin of the application.

Medical Visa Information after Your Arrival in India
Medical visa extension
When the duration of treatment or recovery exceeds the valid time span of the patient’s visa then a medical visa extension is required. In order to extend the stay of the patient in India, the patient or his/her medical attendant has to go to the concerned city’s FRRO office with an official letter from the hospital where he/she is having treatment in and other required documents. The letter from the hospital should consist of the patient’s medical condition, treatment procedure and the number of extra days necessary for his/her recovery.
FRRO
Registration of foreigners after their arrival in India along with their departure, visa extension and other nuances regarding the foreigners’ stay in the country is looked after by the Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO). It is necessary for the international patients arriving in India to register in the FRRO office. Below is listed the required documents for registration:
