Eligibility for Medical Visa from Armenia to India

The sole purpose of applying for a medical visa and travelling to India should be medical treatment.

The hospitals, the applicants seek treatment in should be recognized/specialized/reputed.

Two medical attendants are allowed to accompany the patient who can be his/her family members, relatives, friends and associates.

The non-exhaustive list of ailments for which medical visa is sought and granted consists of cardiac ailments, neurology/neurosurgery, organ transplantations, gene therapy, congenital disorders, joint replacement, tumors and others.
Important Documents Required for Indian Medical Visa from Armenia

Original passport with six months validity.

Completely filled online visa application form.

Two current passport size photographs. (In case of Pakistani nationals, 5 photographs.)

Visa fees. (to be paid only in Armenian Dram)

A signed and stamped official letter from the concerned hospital in India.

Copy of recognition of the hospital.

Copy of confirmed return air tickets.

Nationals of Pakistan and Bangladesh have to fill a separate application form.

For visa clearance, the nationals of other countries have to fill up an additional form, Telefax.

Nationals of other countries have to submit Residence Permit/Registration issued by the Armenian or the Georgian Government along with the copy of their passport.
Online Application of Indian Medical Visa from Armenia

In the government website on Indian Visa Online, click on Regular Visa Application.

Fill up the blanks regarding your country name, high commission, date of birth, nationality, email ID, expected arrival date in India and visa type. After entering the access code click Continue.

In the three page online application form, click on Save and Continue at the end of each age.

Enter details regarding your family address and your profession/occupation.

Provide the necessary credentials about the hospital in your country where the you have been diagnosed/treated previously, the Indian hospital you have consulted to have treatment in, the duration of the treatment, number of visa entries required, expected dates of arrival in and departure from India, details about your previous visit to SAARC countries (if any) and reference.

If you are travelling to India for your medical treatment with Vaidam Health’s assistance but do not have a reference in India, then you can provide the company’s contact details.

When you click Save and Continue after completing the last page of the form, a preview containing all the details you have entered will appear on the new window.

Go through the details. In case of any mistake/changes click Modify/Edit. If you think all the data is correct click Continue.

Go through the set of instructions carefully that appears in another window. Click Ok for final registration. To make any changes in the form, click Cancel.

Select a suitable date of appointment when you can submit your application along with the necessary documents at the Mission Counter.

Save the online medical visa when you will be given the option to Save or Print.

In the Home page of the Indian Visa Online website, click on Print Registered Application.

Affix two recent passport photographs to the application form.

Put your signature just below the photo box on the first page and at the end of the second page.

Submit the application form along with the required documents at the Mission Counter in the appointed date during the working hours. It is mentioned at the top right margin of the form.
Indian Medical Visa Processing Fee
The processing fee of medical visa from India to Armenia is:

40,000 Armenian Dram for 6 months, single/multiple entry

60,000 Armenian Dram for 1 year, multiple entry
Note: The visa fees should be paid in Armenian Dram at the Mission Counter of the Indian Embassy in Armenia. Online transactions and tampered notes are not accepted.

Medical Visa Information after Your Arrival in India
Medical Visa Extension
When the duration of the treatment or recovery of the patient exceeds the medical visa expiry date then he / she has to apply for a medical visa extension. To apply for the same he / she has to submit the required documents along with an official letter from the respective hospital that mentions the patient’s medical condition, treatment procedure and the extra number of days required for the completion of the treatment.
FRRO
FRRO or Foreign Regional Registration Office caters to and administers the registration, visa extension, departure and other nuances regarding international travellers’ arrival, stay and departure from India. The documents required for registration at FRRO offices are:

E-tourist Visa from Armenia to India
One can apply for an e-tourist visa when he/she requires short term medical treatments / check-ups. The documents required to apply for e-tourist visa are:

PDF version of the scanned first page of the passport whose size should be between 10KB to 300 KB.

The applicant should upload a recent digital photograph that follows the following criteria:

The size of the photo should be between 10KB to 1MB.
-
The height and width of the photo should be of equal length.
-
The photo should contain full face, front view of the applicant with his/her eyes open.
-
From top of the hair to the bottom of the chin of the applicant should be clearly visible. Head should be at the center of the frame.

Background should be either white or plain light color.
-
No shadows should be there on the face or the background.

The photo should not contain any borders.
