Sometimes, life never gets easy. It continues to be irksome. However, life begins on the other side of despair. Such was the case with Segran Nair from Canada, who was diagnosed with a tumor in his spinal cord a long time ago in Canada. After consultation from a local physician and have all the essential investigations done, he was advised to get the spine tumor removed. Segran underwent the tumor removal surgery in 2012.
This was not all, as soon he was diagnosed with the spinal cord injury, that might have happened during the surgery. This injury led to the paralysis of all the muscles of his lower body from hip to toes. Segran’s gut muscles were also affected by the injury due to which he could not digest the food. He needed assistance for his routine work and could barely walk. He consulted several doctors in Canda, received various treatments and took medications for long 9 years without much benefit. Eventually, the patient was advised to receive stem cell treatment. Segran Nair finally decided to get himself treated by the topmost doctor.
While exploring for some of the best hospitals in India, Segran discovered about Vaidam Health. He posted his query on the website. Momentarily, he was contacted by a case manager, who took a short summary from the beginning and all the reports related to it. The following day was spent in giving the stem cell therapy to the patient. Segran was discharged from the hospital the third day after taking a detailed followup and physical examination.
The next few days were spent having the physiotherapy sessions. The patient finally went back to his hometown on 6 December 2018. Mr. Nair was entirely satisfied with the treatment and overall services received at the hospital.
