Sardasht Khalil is 26 years old from the United Kingdom. He was diagnosed with ‘Ulcerative Colitis’ nearly 4 years ago. After consulting some doctors back in the UK, he could not get a permanent solution to his signs and symptoms. He was constantly suffering from abdominal pain, blood in stools, and diarrhoea. So he decided to visit India and ultimately get rid of it.
“Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease causing ulcers in the gut. The most commonly affected areas are the large intestine and rectum.”
Finalizing the hospital
When Mr Khalil started exploring the best places for his treatment, he came to know about Vaidam. He started by posting a query regarding his problem and received a call by one of the case managers. The case manager, Dr Amarroop Nain asked for his reports and shared them with some of the best doctors in India. She also helped in getting the hospital opinion and quotes. After going through all of it, he decided to visit Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon.
Vaidam assistance in getting the medical visa
Mr Khalil was entirely assisted in all the paperwork needed to be done before coming to India. The case manager helped in getting the Visa Invitation Letter from the hospital. Another team member helped her in the application of the visa form. After a period of 72 hours, the medical visa to India was received by the patient on his email id.
The appointment with the doctor
After arriving in India, he was picked up from the airport to his hotel. Soon, his appointment was booked with a senior medical oncologist in the hospital. The doctor listened to his case history with patience and ordered detailed investigations to reach an accurate diagnosis. After going through the results, the doctor advised him to get ayurvedic treatment for the treatment of ulcerative colitis.
For continuously for four years, I struggle to get over this unbearable illness. Thanks to the team and the hospital staff for helping me finally get away with it.
