What brought you to India?

I wanted to have a complete health check-up for me and my family. I have Type 2 diabetes, which is under control and my wife wanted to consult an eye doctor. So I decided to visit India for a family health check-up. As I came to know about Vaidam, I posted a query on their website. A case manager contacted me soon after that. Shortly I was able to choose the hospital where I wanted the evaluation. The case manager provided a list of doctors and their profiles to ease the process. Finally, I decided to visit Artemis hospital, Gurgaon. 

How was your visit to India arranged?

The Visa Invitation Letter was arranged by the team from the hospital. The visa application process was also done by the Vaidam team. I only had to give my information. Other than this, the accommodation was also arranged by the team as per my preferences. Our pickup and drop off from the airport was also arranged by team members. They facilitated my trip very smoothly.

What did the evaluation go at the hospital?

After I arrived in India, I was picked up from the airport and my appointment was scheduled with the doctor. He took a detailed medical history and heard me patiently. He also conducted the physical examination and advised further investigations. When my son was evaluated, he had pain in his shoulder. To our surprise, the doctor suggested that he needed immediate surgery, else the shoulder can develop a major defect in the future. Thanks to the doctor, we escaped a major problem as he diagnosed the issue on time. 

Tell us about your overall experience of the visit. 

I had a great visit to India. Everything was arranged by Vaidam and went on systematically. It was hassle-free. Thanks to the team and the hospital for the support.
