Priyanka Chhaya Jahul is a 20 years old young girl from Mauritius, who started feeling weak each passing day several months back. She could not understand the exact reason behind her worsening condition. She tried to improve her diet and did several other things but in vain. Priyanka also consulted a doctor nearby in Mauritius but did not get much relief. Her reports revealed that her Hemoglobin levels were reduced to 4 and the blasts cells were reduced by 60%. This was when she finally decided to come to India for her treatment.
While searching for the best hematology hospitals in India, her parents found out about Vaidam Health and posted a query on their website. Shortly, they received a call back from the team. The case manager, Dr. Tamanna Kalra took the previous reports and shared them with the top hematologists in India. She also shared the doctor’s profiles with the family to help them choose the hospital for the treatment.
Shortly after they finalized to visit Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon, the team helped them getting the Visa Invitation Letter and also in the visa application. Priyanka arrived in India on 2nd June 2018. At the time of her arrival, she still had breathlessness. The team picked her from the airport and dropped her to the hotel. Soon, the appointment was booked with Dr. Nitin Sood. The doctor listened to her patiently and took a detailed case history from the beginning. He ordered further investigations and the reports revealed that Priyanka was suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia and she would need a blood transfusion.

Soon after the patient, went through blood transfusion in multiple sessions. She was kept under observation for a few days and then discharged from the hospital.
