After 6 months of Suffering from Excruciating Knee Pain, Musab Alsiddig Hassan from Sudan was Relieved by an ACL Reconstruction Surgery in India
The basic significance of the combined function of the joints and ligaments lay in the smoothness of movement it gives to the body. Excruciating pain is therefore the resultant experience that one has to go through when one of them is injured or adversely affected. Musab Alsiddig Hassan from suffered from a similar condition for almost 6 months till he flew to India for his treatment from Sudan.
What was the medical condition you suffered from?
I had an ACL tear in my knee. About 6 months ago while playing football I fell down on my knee. I got hurt so badly that the pain just won't go away. My knee swelled, I could not walk properly. A first aid kit was what I reached out for initially but it didn't make any difference. I went for a check up and after I got my reports I came to know that one of the ligaments inside my knee joint was torn.
Where did you have your treatment in India?
I had my treatment at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI). I underwent an ACL reconstruction surgery and menisectomy.
How has your recovery been post surgery?
I have received a fine treatment here at FMRI. Dr. Ashok Rajgopal and his team have been commendable. They are professional and amicable. Within my stay at the hospital for about three days I started walking. There was no pain post surgery. In fact I am so impressed by its medical infrastructure that I decided to get even my wife's cardiac treatment done here.
How did you get in touch with FMRI?
Vaidam Health fetched me an appointment with Dr. Rajgopal at the hospital. I found the company's website when I was searching for treatment options online. After I wrote an enquiry, I received a call from my case manager. Vaidam helped me to get my treatment in India.
How has your medical trip been with Vaidam's assistance?
It has been a very pleasant experience indeed. The whole team of Vaidam has provided me with all the assistance I required. Because of their help, before even coming to India, I knew the cost of my treatment, I had the doctor's opinion with me and I was thoroughly guided in visa application. So, the whole process has been a very organized and step-by-step one. To my surprise I also bumped into one of my acquaintances from Sudan who also came to India through Vaidam for his treatment. So the whole experience has been splendid throughout.
