4-month-old Gregory Bright from Ghana got Cured of his Congenital Heart Disease in India

Gregory Amoha Bright, is a 4 month old baby from Ghana with chubby cheeks, bright eyes and curly black hair. But since his birth, the only places that he has been most acquainted with are hospitals as he suffered from a congenital heart disease.

“Although Gregory has been hospitalized in Ghana but due to lack of treatment options, we started looking elsewhere. Doctors back in Ghana suggested that India will be a suitable place for his treatment”, said Gregory’s mother.

I didn’t even know in what condition will my baby be after the surgery. But there was no other option and I gave in”.

After the surgery, Gregory had to stay in the hospital for two weeks for recovery and follow-ups. “I feel that my child is blessed. He is heal-and-hearty and happy. I am extremely elated and would love to thank Dr. Solomon and Apollo Children’s Hospital for such a wonderful treatment and for taking care of my child so well. The hospital is hygienic with all the newest medical technologies and facilities required and the nurses were also very patient and caring. I loved it”, said she.

Before the surgery, 4-month-old Gregory suffered from cyanosis, his normal functioning of the heart was affected and had congested cardiac failure. Cyanosis is the bluish discoloration of the skin because of increased concentration of deoxyhemoglobin caused by deoxygenation.

“Prior to the surgery, his condition worsened as each day passed. I just wanted a proper hospital where there will be good doctors and latest treatment facilities so that my child could be completely cured. Vaidam Health has provided me with just what I needed.
