Delicate, fragile and vulnerable are what a baby is described as when he or she is born. But due to certain factors, the developmental process of the child remains incomplete in some arenas of his / her physiology since birth that can be defined as congenital defects. One such congenital defect concerning the male child is known as cryptorchidism. Having the same problem, baby Liban Yusuf Sh Isse from Kenya, with his parents, came for a treatment at one of the top 10 urology hospitals in India.
In simple words, cryptorchidism means undescended testicles. It is a problem that many of the male babies undergo but in most of the cases, it descends naturally within the first three months or so after birth. Liban is a year old yet the defect prevailed. “We waited for a year and thought, with time, as he will grow the problem will get resolved by itself. But we started to worry when it didn’t”, said Mr. Yusuf, his father.
