Cameroon hosted an orthopedical and Neurology health checkup camp in July. The camp was organized by Vaidam Health in association with Fortis Hospital, Gurgaon. It was held from July 25 to July 29 at different locations in Cameroon. Aparna Kocchar, patient relation executive of Vaidam health went with the doctors. Dr. Gurneet Singh Sawhney, Neuro & spine surgeon and Dr. Puneet Mishra Orthopedic and Joint replacement surgeon at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon provided consultation to the patients.
Dr. Gurneet is one of the leading neurosurgeon with an experience of more than 14 years. His special interest lies in conducting complex neurosurgical procedures such as brain tumor surgery, spine surgery, deep brain stimulation, Parkinson’s treatment, seizure treatment, etc.
Dr. Puneet Mishra has an experience of more than 18 years in Orthopedics. He has treated more than 500 cases of Acetabulum and pelvic fracture in the last 15 years. He also specializes in primary and revision hip arthroplasty, orthopedic trauma fracture surgery, knee arthroscopy, and arthroplasty.
This was the second health checkup camp in Cameroon this year. We continue to receive an overwhelming response from the people. Hoping to organize many more medical camps in future.
