Vaidam Health has now become the subject of a case study by Ivey Business School, one of the oldest business schools in Canada with world’s best MBA program.
Titled as “Vaidam Health: Facilitating Medical Value Travel” and meant to be provided as class discussion material for MBA students at Ivey and other business schools worldwide, this case study has been written by Prof. (Dr.) Anupam Prashar of Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon, and published by Ivey Publishing, the most credible publisher of business case studies in the world after Harvard Business School.
This case study notes that since its establishment in January 2016, Vaidam has partnered with more than 100 best-accredited hospitals in India and more than 1,000 medical practitioners in India. Established by two IIM graduates - Pankaj Chandna and Manish Chandra, it has been able to gain trust of overseas patients by offering customized care with complete transparency. India’s first and only online platform to get accreditation from NABH, Vaidam Health has been certified to ISO 9001 and 27001 standards.
Ivey cases are real-world cases, typically field-based, involving actual interviews with businesses from around the world. Unlike Harvard, whose case studies are written by its own professors, authors of Ivey case studies can come from any business school in the world. Case studies produced by business schools like Harvard and Ivey are also used by B schools around the world.
