- Pusan National University – Yangsan Hospital (PNUYH) came into existence in 2008 as a multi-specialty hospital to treat gastroenterology, cardiovascular diseases, neurology and neurosurgery, minimally-invasive endoscopic surgery center and 23 other specialty clinics.
- The hospital is Korea's first and the only comprehensive complex in the world with a university hospital, a children's hospital, a dental hospital, a rehabilitation hospital, a Korean medicine hospital, a clinical trial center and a specialized disease center.
- The hospital is built on 231,000 sq. metres offers outstanding treatment owing to its expert medical staff, a medical information system, PACS, construction of treatment infrastructure and a logistics automation system.
- PNUYH has a bed capacity of +1,000 beds. It has 15 centers, 15 departments and eight clinics.
- It has the best organ transplant center in Korea. In 2009, it opened the Pusan Cancer Center.
- The PNUYH complex comprises Pusan National University Children's Hospital, the Pusan National University Dental Hospital and the Pusan National University Rehabilitation Hospital.
- The hospital offers one-room, two-room and family-room accomodation with basic essential facilities. The wards are comfortable, airy and well-lit.
- The complex comprises cafe, guesthouse, convenience stores, bakery, food court and an optical shop.
- In May 2010, PNUYH International Healthcare Center was set up to cater to international patients from Russia, China and Japan. It has bilingual-speaking staff and interpretation services. The center also offfers sustainable follow-up management based on patient conditions.

- Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital was established on 11 May, 1936 with four doctors focusing on internal medicine and paediatrics. After 80 years, it has progressively evolved and expanded itself, responding to the medical needs of the environment and aiming to become a "patient-centered futuristic hospital." In 2010, its name was changed to the Catholic University of Korea Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital. The Catholic University Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital is Korea Catholic's first formal hospital.
- The Hospital is multidisciplinary with 31 Clinical departments and 15 Care Centres. Through its spiritual inclination, it offers a holistic treatment and medical service. It therefore, has a comprehensive system of care from beginning of life to the end.
- In 2011, it acquired the medical institution certificate from the Ministry of Health and Welfare for the first time.
- In 2015, the One Hospital System in which Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital and Seoul St. Mary's Hospital become one hospital was introduced. This integrates an operation model of secondary & tertiary hospitals in Korea for the first time. This means they treat more severe conditions requiring specialised knowledge and more intensive health monitoring.
- It was also designated as a hospice palliative medical institution by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2016.
- In 2017, it saw the birth of the first baby using the NaPro pregnancy method in Korea. The NaPro pregnancy method assists natural pregnancy with medication or surgery by identifying hormonal changes during menstrual cycle. In the same year, it was designated as a medical institution for Canadian visa issuing physical examination.
- It has a Health Promotion Centre which offers an all-inclusive package health programme.
- The Catholic University of Korea Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital has an International Healthcare Center opened in February 2013 providing total care to foreign patients with accurate medical services and a team of dedicated personnel. It also signed an MoU with the Seoul Metropolitan City in 2010 striving to facilitate convenience to foreign patients.
- It is also the official medical institution for medical examinations on cancer screening and physical examination for visa issuance to countries namely, USA, Canada, Spain, Iraq, and Vietnam.

- Ewha Womans University Medical Centre (EUMC) initially started as "Pogoonyogoan" - a house of many sick women in1887. It is the first women's hospital in Korea and has been leading Korean women’s medicine ever since its establishment. In November 2015, the current Ewha Womans University Medical Center was founded having both hospitals and medical schools.
- EUMC is an umbrella organisation consisting of Ewha Institute of Convergence Medicine and Ewha Clinical Trial Center, Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital, Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital, Ewha Womans University Cancer Center for Women, Ewha Womans University, Ewha Womans University College of Medicine, and Ewha Womans University College of Nursing. It also operates Yangcheon-Gangseo Center for Dementia, Yangcheon Center for Mental Health and the Gimpo International Airport Clinic.
- It specialises in women's cancer such as breast cancer, thyroid cancer, and gynaecological cancer. It was selected as the best hospital in colon cancer treatment by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. It also received the best grade in stomach cancer and colon cancer surgery performance by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRAS). It was also given the first place as a ‘Good Cancer Center’ in patient satisfaction, in Korea Cancer Center Assessment conducted by a famous daily newspaper, MK Business News, and a global consulting group, Deloitte.

- Soon Chun Hyang University Hospital – Cheonan is a leading super-specaility, tertiary-care hospital of the central region of Korea and was founded in 1982. In its 38 years of existence, the hospital has some firsts to its credit, viz; it became the first among Korea's university hospitals to start free onsite cancer education in 2001. In 2011, the hospital opened the first day clinic of the region, followed by the first hospital in the country to launch 8-channel multi-detect spiral CT in 2003.
- In its first two decades of operations, the hospital was deisgnated as an internship institute for medical technicians, as a training facility for millitary and also for certified personnel for mental healthcare.
