- Ewha Womans University Medical Centre (EUMC) initially started as "Pogoonyogoan" - a house of many sick women in1887. It is the first women's hospital in Korea and has been leading Korean women’s medicine ever since its establishment. - Soon Chun Hyang University Hospital – Cheonan is a leading super-specaility, tertiary-care hospital of the central region of Korea and was founded in 1982.
