After the seizure there comes postictal which can be defined as a period of confusion that the patient goes through before becoming fully conscious. Its time span ranges from 3-15 minutes to a few hours. Other common symptoms include exhaustion, headache, difficulty to speak and abnormal behavior. Localized weakness or Todd’s Paralysis may also occur.
