- Dr. Tan Ken Jin received his medical degree from the NUS and trained in orthopaedic surgery in a number of hospitals. After completing his advanced specialty training, he was given the College of Surgeons Gold Medal. He then went on to complete two fellowship-training programmes at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction in the United States and the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus in Germany, where he worked with Dr. Mark Myerson, a world authority and pioneer in foot and ankle surgery.
- Dr. Tan is very interested in teaching other medical professionals, students, and the general public about orthopaedic disorders. Dr. Tan contributed significantly to the training of upcoming orthopaedic specialists in his roles as an assistant professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and as a core faculty member for the orthopaedic residency programme of the National University Health System.
