Dr Vijay Jayakrishnan is a renowned Interventional Neuroradiologist in India.
He has a thriving experience of over 20+ years & has received training from some of the premium Institutes Nationally & Internationally.
Dr Jayakrishnan has completed his MBBS & MD (Radiology) from Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. Following which he did his PDCC in Neuro Vascular Radiology Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology.
He did his MSc in Neuro Vascular Radiology from University of Paris and Bangkok University & CCT, Speciality Training Committee from UK.
Dr Jayakrishnan is trained in management of vascular abnormalities of the brain and spinal cord.
Adding to his credits he has treated hundreds of intracranial aneurysm cases through interventional minimal access methods like coiling and stenting.
He is an active member of various eminent organisations like Indian Radiology and Imaging Association Member, Neurovascular Group Member, British Society of Neuroradiology.
His areas of specialisation include non-invasive treatment of aneurysms and vascular malformations using coils, stents and onyx and current intra-arterial clot extraction treatment for acute stroke.
