- Dr. Leow Aik Ming is a plastic surgeon with more than 20 years of expertise.
- Dr. Leow has performed reconstructive surgery for a variety of complicated craniofacial abnormalities caused by birth, trauma, or tumour removal. Microsurgery, cleft and craniofacial surgery, orthognathic surgery, cranioplasty, ear restoration, and a variety of facial beauty operations are among his specialties (blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, facelift, forehead lift, facial contouring surgery, etc). Body contouring surgery, breast reconstruction surgery, laser surgery, and liposuction are among the other procedures available.
- Dr. Leow received his MBBS degree with honours from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India, in 1995. He began his general surgery training after completing his internship at different general hospitals in Kuala Lumpur and Pahang. In 2001, he passed the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh's (FRCSEd) specialty tests for general surgery and was awarded the prestigious fellowship degree.
- In 2005, he earned his Master of Surgery (Plastic Surgery) degree. Dr. Leow undertook many subspecialty trainings in plastic surgery during the next five years.
- He did craniomaxillofacial surgery fellowships at Freiburg University in Germany and craniofacial surgery fellowships at Chang Gung University in Taiwan (Taiwan).
- Dr. Leow was one of the few recipients of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)/American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons' coveted PSEF International Scholar (USA) award in 2009. (ASMS).
- He is registered with 125734 (National Specialist Register of Malaysia, 2009) and 33500 (Malaysian Medical Council, 1997).
- Dr Leow Aik Ming is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Malay.
