- Dr. Benjamin Chuah is a Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist at OncoCare Cancer Centre in Mount Alvernia Hospital, Singapore.
- He has more than two decades of experience and holds expertise in Gastrointestinal cancers including oesophageal, gastric, biliary tract, pancreatic, liver (hepatocellular carcinoma), neuroendocrine cancers, and colorectal cancers.
- After completing his graduation in medicine from Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland in 1998, Dr. Chuah returned to Singapore and obtained his membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2002.
- He has also attained Fellowship in Medical Oncology from the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh.
- He is the former Director of Post Graduate Medical Education (Medical Oncology) and Core Faculty for the Residency Program (Internal Medicine) at National University Hospital.
- He has been honored with various awards and recognitions such as Professor's Prize in Physic (Surgery) in 1998, Arthur Ball Prize (2nd place) in 1998, NUH Innovative Grant in 2007, and the Kobayashi Foundation Award in 2010, and NUH Postgraduate Teaching Excellence Award in 2011.
- He was actively involved in clinical and translational research. He was mainly responsible in international trials involving the use of novel and targeted therapy drugs for colorectal and pancreatic cancer.
