- Dr. Bakshi was a consultant in the bone marrow transplant unit at Tata Memorial Centre and has been involved in the performance of bone marrow, peripheral blood and umbilical cord blood transplants.
- He has experience of dealing with both related as well as unrelated hematopoietic stem cell transplants.
- He has been involved in submitting the data to the International Bone Marrow Transplant Registry (IBMTR).
- Dr Ashish Bakshi has been involved in more than 50 clinical trials (including Phase I-III).
- He has also been trained in ICH-GCP guidelines and is proficient in the conduct of clinical trials. H
- The doctor also has extensive teaching experience (undergraduate and postgraduate students) for the last 10 years.
- The doctor is a Member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO).
- He qualified the certification examination conducted by the ESMO in the year 2004.
