Prolapsed internal hemorrhoids can cause fecal incontinence and when blood supply is cut off they can become gangerous. Usually three out of four adults are affected with hemorrhoids at some point in their life, they use non invasive method foe treatment. If the non invasive method are not successful in treatment of hemorrhoids then surgery is the only option.

Hemorrhoids are diagnosed by physical examination and digital rectal examination. For diagnosis of internal hemorrhoids anoscopy, sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy are done.
If your hemorrhoids is large then you may need surgery for it’streatment. Surgery can be either done by chemicals, lasers, infrared light and if they’re large then you may need a sharp scalpel to remove them.
It will take around 30 minutes to one hour to do the surgery you will be given general anaesthesia for it.
Incisions are given in the tissues around the hemorrhoids and the swollen vein inside the hemorrhoids is tied off for preventing bleeding and then hemorrhoids is removed.
Few days after the surgery drink of fluids and at bland diet you may apply numbing medicines before and after your bowel movement.
