- As the patient was seven months pregnant, doctors at LLH Hospital did not take the risk to perform such a complicated surgery.
- They referred the case to Rockland Hospital, Qutab in New Delhi, India.
- At Rockland Hospital, the team of expert surgeons removed the tumour through her nose by the procedure of sublabialtrans sphenoidal pituitary tumour decompression.
- While the tumor was being removed, the team of gynecologist and pediatrician saved her baby by performing an emergency caesarian section.
- The two surgeries saved both the mother and the child.
